Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were huge and well-appointed, but I noticed it was a bit dusty in the corners. The location is not ideal due to ongoing renovations, but there are good dining options nearby. The dining experience was disappointing with limited choices, but the hand-made pasta was phenomenal.
The hotel has its ups and downs. The rooms are spacious and come with their own private balcony, but some might find the view not the most appealing. The dampness in the room was a drawback even with the air conditioning.
The hotel rooms were very nice and comfortable, with a spacious balcony, but some were wet and moldy. The service was incredible, although some staff were not knowledgeable, and the location was great but affected by loud renovation works nearby. The dining experience was a mix of yummy and old dishes. Overall, a lovely place but with flaws.
The Mayfair offers unique room designs that vary for each guest, but cleanliness issues and odors detract from the experience. Service is lacking professionalism and flexibility, which diminishes an otherwise superb stay. The location is great, close to the water, restaurants, and shops, but noise from a karaoke bar can be disruptive. Dining options are uninspiring and basic, with limited selections. Overall, the hotel provides a modern setting but lacks in maintenance and service quality.
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were not in the best shape, with dirty red cups on the table, a stray hair weave on the floor, and the presence of bed bugs. The room temperature control was tricky, making it feel like a prop plane taking off. However, the layout of the rooms was unique. Service had its highs and lows, with the rooftop staff being super friendly, but others coming off as rude and unfriendly. The location had potential but was ultimately disappointing with ongoing issues. The dining experience was a mixed bag, with poor content and setup, but redeemed by phenomenal dishes. Overall, there were both positive and negative aspects to consider during my stay.
Upon checking in, the room wasn't fully clean, but it was absolutely huge, being the executive suite with a queen-sized bed, couch, mini sitting area, and a jacuzzi on the deck. The room had the correct amount of beds. The service was a mix of slow and rude but also excellent, with valet, front desk, bartenders, restaurant, and spa personnel being amazing, friendly, and helpful. The location is tucked away from the noise of South Miami Beach. The dining experience was not what was expected, with limited choices for the price.
